LEGAL AND BUSINESS AFFAIRS
Jane spent 20 years of her career working in Legal & Business Affairs. Starting out as a partially qualified paralegal, her diligent, practical and commercial approach resulted in multiple promotions until she became SVP International Legal & Business Affairs at Warner/Chappell in 2005, and for the following 8 years held responsibility for all business affairs activities at the company outside of North America.
Jane’s experience covers litigation, commercial negotiations, governance, drafting, protocols, team management, competition law, public policy, refinancing and M&A work, having been a key team member on numerous multi-million pound transactions including the sale of the Warner Music business from Time Warner to Edgar Bronfman, through refinancing and IPOs, and again the group’s subsequent sale onto Access Industries.
